Narrative doesn’t simply thread through her work - it hums, tilts, surfaces. Scenes form around found images and lived experience, charged with a quiet surrealism that is both comic and unsettling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a practice alive with its own frequencies: psychic rituals, social commentary, dreamscapes. The work resists single interpretation, offering instead a layered, intuitive world where story, memory, and the unconscious meet. Moore is not borrowing from the world, she is building one of her own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"statement2\"\u003e\n\u003ch2 class=\"h4\"\u003eArtist Statement\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI work with multiple different supports for my paintings playing with the way paint interacts with an untraditional surface. Much of my landscape based work focuses on a pairing down of the marks to recreate the emotion of the moment,  these are often created in my studio from quick sketches made on hikes. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy other key interest in my practice is a theatrical narrative or emerging story within an image. I am interested in imagery that rests between the comical and unnerving, the film-like and the real. Often this includes my interest in true crime and occultist imagery and the poignancy and increased narrative they acquire through painting.
