I intentionally worked without an outcome in mind allowing the sculptures to emerge through months of material experimentation. Creative decisions were made by following how the textiles resisted during the making process. An example of this is how I quilted the upcycled wool to increase its strength and highlight its variegated colours.

This way of making comes from the position that creativity does not only belong to the artist. The authorship of the work flows between me, the materials, the making processes and the engaged viewer. The installation is not finished when the making ends as the viewer is invited to attach wool beads to the sculptures allowing them to enter into the creative process. Creativity is shown not as a fixed point but a line that others are invited to follow.
