2026 Emerging Art Prize Nominee.
Through oil painting, I can capture everyone, from loved ones to strangers, in a moment they enjoyed, whether it is cooking, holding a pet, or waiting for a train. I like to observe life. The medium allows for an enjoyable and soft process of painting, especially when always using an orange underpainting to bring warm tones up through the finishing layers.
