Congratulations to Lorena Levi

Lorena Levi joins Marlborough Fine Art

Wonderful news to share that Lorena Levi is now represented by Marlborough Fine Art - the iconic British Gallery that has, over the decades staged exhibitions by art legends such as Kandinsky, Francis Bacon, Henry Moore, Jackson Pollock, Egon Schiele, Henry Matisse and many other heroes of the art world. Huge congratulations to Lorena! We will enjoy seeing her career take flight.

If you’ve been following us for a while, you may remember when we first introduced Lorena Levi to the market following her MA show at Edinburgh College of Art in 2021. In the intervening period we have sent out a number of investment tip newsletters about Lorena and regularly featured her in our spotlight section - posts which you can read below:

David Rae joins our Masters Section this week. He has just been shortlisted for the Scottish Landscape Award 2023 and the Gilchrist 2024 prize, which artists such as Peter Doig have previously won. David was previously selected for 2018 RSA New Contemporaries and 2023 RSA Annual Exhibition.

Edward Jones, seems to be gaining recognition just about everywhere at the moment. He has been shortlisted for the Gilchrist-Fisher Award 2024, selected by Paul Smith for his British Art at Albemarle show and and selected for the Freelands Foundation Prize. We currently have just one piece available by the artist.

Sean Davidson, an outstanding young painter has also been selected for the Freelands Foundation Prize and there’s a real buzz around his work at the moment.

Sophie Lloyd has been chosen as the first recipient of the Anthony Caro Sculpture Prize. Sophie has recently been awarded a commission and her work is currently on loan for an exhibition - so we will have work available for sale after 7th November.
