Everything on New Blood Art is original: unique paintings, drawings and sculpture, and fine art prints made by hand by the artist in small signed editions. The one exception is The Print Studio, a separate section of reproductions of original works.

Discerning Eye & Harrods

Opened this week at Mall Galleries London, shaped each year by six selectors who draw together a small, tightly curated show.

All works measure 50 cm or under in every dimension (including frame), which keeps the exhibition focused on small-scale art. Thousands apply; only a few hundred works are chosen.

Three New Blood Artists appear in this year’s exhibition - Orlanda Broom, John Heywood-Waddington and Margaret Ashman. Congratulations to Margaret, awarded the overall Print Prize for Slow Dancing 1. The edition of 50 is gaining strong attention - an ideal moment to acquire.

Larissa Virdee at Harrods

Larissa Virdee builds images with a steady pulse. Botanical forms, shells, and repeating structures move through fields of colour that feel calm and charged. Her background in textiles sits inside each piece through precision, control, and rhythm. David Collins Studio recognised this quality and placed her work in their recent Harrods project on the first floor. We have a wonderful range of work available by Larissa - which you can view here.
