Introducing new artists Melanie King & Lindsay Mapes
New artist Lindsay Mapes graduated from Slade School of Fine Art, she is concerned with "the visual and conceptual aspects of erasure, obfuscation, obstruction and secrecy." her work is so uplifting and vibrant.
Melanie King is currently studying for an MPhil in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art. Melanie is a recent graduate of the Masters in Art and Science degree at Central Saint Martins. Her current research is focused on the philosophy of science, particularly in the field of astronomy. In her practice, Melanie explores the complex relationship between materials, light and our own stellar origins through the use of photosensitive materials.
