Jade Bowmer in Tate Modern group show
Jade Bowmer, group show Tate Modern
A painting by Jade Bowmer - 'Tidal Currents', will be exhibited at the Tate Modern, in a group exhibition - April 6th - 8th (level 6 of the Blavatnik Building). The title of the show is 'Inside Job' and features a wide range of work completed by artists with a working affiliation to the Tate. There was an open call for artist to submit work and at the time Jade was working part time at the Tate St Ives. The show will reflect the wonderfully diverse creative staff who work at the Tate at its various venues. from bar staff to curators. Some of the artists on show have won awards and rave reviews and others are exhibiting for the first time.

"I want to capture the depth and beauty of the Earth’s surface and its water systems, whilst highlighting the changes they are undergoing as a result of dramatic climate change. To recreate the feel of these incredible environments I mix and pour coloured resin in an unconventional way; using the heat from a butane blow torch to facilitate the resin flow."
