I’m excited to share the shortlist for the 2024 New Blood Art Emerging Art Prize, as well as introduce you to the remarkable judges who are bringing their expertise to this year’s prize.
The Judges:
Peter Hargreaves
Peter Hargreaves, one of the UK’s most respected business figures and a passionate art collector, brings an entrepreneurial perspective to the panel. His ability to recognise potential and his understanding of success mirror the skills and qualities that emerging artists need to thrive in the professional art world.
Jim Rajan
Jim Rajan, an artist, published writer, and musician, offers a deep understanding of the creative process. With a career spanning both commercial arts and his own creative practice, Jim empowers artists to harness their sensitivities as strengths and align with their authentic selves.
As the founder of New Blood Art and this prize, it’s been a privilege to bring together judges with such diverse and inspiring perspectives. I’m so excited for the insight they’ll bring to selecting the winner.
