The next generation of UK artists: 2025 nominees live now
✨ The 2025 Emerging Art Prize Nominees Are Live ✨
The 2025 New Blood Art Emerging Art Prize shortlist is taking shape — most of this year’s nominees are now live, offering a rare first look at the next wave of UK contemporary art.
Selected by Fine Art tutors from across the UK, these graduates represent some of the most exciting new artists entering contemporary practice today.
The Prize is unique: no other award brings together nominations directly from Fine Art tutors across the country. It offers a national overview of the next generation — a distilled cultural snapshot of what’s emerging right now in UK contemporary art, and a chance to see (and collect) tomorrow’s leading artists at the very start of their journey.
For over 20 years, New Blood Art has connected collectors with artists before they reach the mainstream. The Emerging Art Prize, in partnership with UK Fine Art programmes, continues this commitment to early recognition and curation.
