Work by Soloists, Biennale Artists and RCA Masters
Three Royal College of Art Masters making waves at different stages of their careers, with a solo show in Austria and work in the London Art Biennale.
New Blood Art is committed to nurturing fresh talent and supporting our artists, and we are delighted to share some brilliant news which attests to their stellar abilities, work ethic and exciting career milestones.
This is a fantastic time to invest in these artists who are garnering attention and receiving well-deserved recognition from galleries and institutions.

Scarlett Budden and Jan Valik to begin RCA Masters
We are delighted to announce that New Blood Artists Scarlett Budden and Jan Valik have been accepted onto the prestigious RCA Masters program — previous New Blood Art RCA alumni include the wildly successful Jo Hummel.
Scarlett paints beautifully smooth archaeological pieces drawn from her own sculptures to create work that 'discovers human-like fossils', interrogating what is seen, unseen and revealed. Mysterious, evocative and elemental, these pieces seem to hold an ancient, calm wisdom.

Jan Valik Solo Show
Educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and also starting an MA in Painting at the RCA in September, Jan Valik is a New Blood Masters Artist whose luminous canvases play with shape, association and light. Describing his paintings as 'territories and/or ecosystems', Jan's work has been exhibited across Europe and he has been shortlisted for the 2021 Contemporary British Painting Prize and the 2022 Now Introducing Prize.
His solo show will be taking place between the 6th of July and the 23rd of September at the Galerie Amart in Vienna.

Samantha Wilson showing work at the 2023 London Art Biennale
New Blood Art Masters Artist Samatha Wilson creates dreamy washes of colour, depicting faces and figures in a practice driven by openness and compassion. Samantha completed her Masters at the Royal College of Art this year, and it's no surprise that this prestigious institution links all three of these talented emerging artists.
We're excited to share that Samantha's work will be on show at the London Art Biennale this year, an international exhibition showcasing fresh, bold contemporary art.
