Remi Jablecki is a Polish artist based in Edinburgh whose career is gaining significant momentum. In 2024 he received the RSA Carnegie Scholarship for Painting, the RSA John Kinross Scholarship, had paintings selected for an ITV series, and was shortlisted for Global Graduate Show 2024. His large-scale oil paintings explore themes of growth, labour, queerness, and societal belonging. Abstract garden landscapes serve as powerful metaphors, examining equality, dependency, and the interconnectedness of land and identity.
Remi Jablecki is a Polish artist, barista, and artworker based in Edinburgh. His practice is experience-led and celebrates transformation and Polish heritage, exploring themes of migration, memory, and gay identity through painting, sculpture and installation. He currently uses foraged and collected materials like coffee to represent scenes from hospitality environments that have supported him for nearly a decade in Scotland.
